Skills & Guiding

Skills & Guiding

Introducing you to new skills or developing old ones. We explore, you discover.

We offer skills based courses in whatever outdoor fields you wish to develop. Whether you seek a new experience right through to self sufficiency.

Scottish Winter Skills

Bespoke Scottish Winter Skills courses aimed to suit all requirements. We’ll help develop the skills of safe travel in the Scottish Mountains with use of ice tools, teaching avalanche awareness, safety procedures and help with the dark art of winter navigation.

We run various courses from introduction through to intermediate skill courses during the Winter that can be based on the East or West coast. So please get in touch if you would like to discuss your requirements.

Spanish Rock

Popular for winter sun, we run bespoke climbing courses in the Costa Blanca. Offering 1 to 1 tuition through to small groups and events. This includes skills, training or new experiences.

A favourite is an intro to lead climbing and coaching movement with the option for a days Mountaineering, Via Feratta  and or Deep Water Soloing.

Courses are usually run to coincide with an escape to the winter sun. November being our favourite month.

International Trekking

We offer a range of walking trips throughout Europe and beyond. These include day walks to multi-day hut based trips. Options for Spain, Iceland or the Swiss or French Alps. If you fancy soaking up the sun, mountains and local flora and forna please get in touch.

Favourite walks include sections of the famous Tour du Mont Blanc or the quieter peaks of the Morzine range.

Chamonix & Courmayeur Running Orientation

If you are new to the famous Mountain resorts of Chamonix or Courmayeur we offer bespoke running packages offering 30, 60 or 90 minutes running orientation taking in the famous and iconic views of the Mont Blanc range with some local knowledge and history thrown in. This can be accelerated to some classic trail running venues such as the Aguille Rouge reserve to Lac Blanc or across the balcony on the flancs of Mont Blanc.
